Continuing Education Information

CPDU/CE/CRC/CEUs are offered at the Illinois Statewide Transition Conference. All interested attendees should select their specific credit hour option when registering for the conference. 

Please read all information before proceeding:

  • It is a requirement that all individuals seeking credits check-in to every session they attend and complete an evaluation specific to their discipline. If this requirement is not met you will not receive credit for that session(s).
  • The amount of credit hours you receive depends on the requirements of your discipline and will not be the same for everyone. 
  • Education Credit will be emailed to you within 90 days post-conference. For questions, please reach out to the contact related to your discipline. 

All conference attendees seeking continuing education credit hours must complete a specific evaluation for their license.  Please read your requirements below carefully.

       ~ Discipline-Specific Information ~

Educators/ School Personnel will earn 1 CPDU per contact hour for activities that will directly impact or contribute to improving student achievement. To receive your ISBE Evidence of Completion form (77-21B) you must first complete the ISBE Conference Evaluation form (77-21A). Questions? LaMetrice Lane, llane@isbe.net

Licensed Social Workers (LSW) and Licensed Certified Social Workers (LCSW) will earn 1 CE hour per one clock hour. The CE activities must contribute to the advancement, extension, and enhancement of professional skills and scientific knowledge in social work. Questions? Claire Cook, clairer3@uic.edu

Licensed Clinical Professional Counselors (LCPC), and Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC) will earn 1 CE hour per one clock hour. The CE activities must contribute to the advancement, extension, and enhancement of professional skills and scientific knowledge in social work. Questions? Claire Cook, clairer3@uic.edu 

Registered Nurses (RN) will earn 1 CEU hour per one clock hour. Credits can be earned only under the Health Track sessions. Questions? Claire Cook, clairer3@uic.edu 

Certified Rehabilitation Counselors (CRC) will earn 1 CE hour per one clock hour. The CE activities must focus on the program to increase the participant’s knowledge of or skill in the practice of rehabilitation counseling. Questions? Tara Dunning, tara@silcofillinois.org
